The Best Gifts Are Those That Come From The Heart

There are a lot of great things that come from living in a military town, not the least of which is the ability to meet great people more often than in other towns. The necessary drawback of this ability is that those people leave.

One of the very best Friends I have ever had left town last week and I miss the hell out of her. I'm really glad I got to know her and I hope that we'll get to spend time together again. I have a slight hate on for Colorado, even though I love it there, because she's there and not here being funny and smart and cool where I am.

Because sometimes I am not grown up.

Before she left she gave all of us wonderful handmade gifts, because she amazing and thoughtful like that. Originally I thought to use this little lovely as a small project bag but then I realized that I had nothing to put my new tarot deck in. So that's its function now.

I love it and I miss the hell out of the person who made it. Happy trails Rox Star and I hope I one day have the privilege of having you in my daily life again.

I thought I was done crying, but you've made me bawl all over again. I miss being cool with you too (I'm cool? We're cool? I've never been cool). You're one of my very best friends too :)
